adidas Running has unveiled their Adizero collection for Fall/Winter 2021, which contains 4 different silhouettes and highlighting the adidas Adios Pro 2.
adidas Adizero Adios Pro 2: The successor to the Adizero Adios Pro features a double-stacked Lightstrike Pro midsole for better energy return. adidas has also updated its carbon-infused Energyrods, which is lightweight yet stiff for better transition and limiting energy loss. The upper is made of Clearmesh 2.0, a partially recycled polyester designed for speed, flexibility, breathability, and support in mind. Continental rubber is used on the tip of the outsole to aid with faster acceleration and a new heel construction to reduce heel slippage and comfort.
adidas Adizero Boston 10: The Adizero Boston 10 takes the best elements of the Adios Pro 2 and makes them a more versatile, everyday running sneaker. Lightstrike Pro sits on top of Lightstrike in the midsole, and the Energyrods are implemented in the footbed as well. Continental rubber is used on the outsole for durable construction.
adidas Adizero Prime X: The Adizero Prime X was engineered with long-distance runners in mind while sharing some of the same technology seen in the Adios Pro 2. The double-stacked Lightstrike Pro is utilized, with a stiffer Energyrods setup and a thicker 50mm heel for longer runs.
adidas Avanti Track Spike: The Avanti Track Spike uses a glass fiber construction alongside the Energyrods technology for added stiffness and flexibility on the track. They also feature Slinglaunch Heel construction which is designed to lock the foot and be anti-slip. The Avanti Track Spike will be on full display at the Tokyo Olympics, with adidas 5,000-10,000km athletes expected to wear the spike this summer.
The Adizero Adios Pro 2 and Prime X will be available June 16th to Creator Club members with a global launch on June 18 and the Adizero Boston 10 will also be available on June 16th, all of which will be on adidas.com. Check out the photos of the collection below.
