Following Team USA’s gold medal victory, adidas Basketball made the adidas AE 1 “Gold Medal” for Anthony Edwards.
The golden pair of Ant-Man’s adidas AE 1 was presented to the now Olympic gold medalist in a golden briefcase, cementing Edwards’ title as an Olympic winner. The AE 1 debuted at the end of 2023 and has been at the forefront of performant basketball as the Three Stripes crafted the perfect debut signature shoe for Edwards.
Living up to its name, the adidas AE 1 “Gold Medal” was created with a matte golden upper in monochromatic fashion. A translucent white outsole and black mesh upper accompanied the pair, along with the heel Three Stripe branding, which was also dipped in gold.
As of now, the pair isn’t expected to have a retail release and will remain a Player Exclusive (PE) for Edwards.
