adidas took over Salt Lake City, Utah, for All-Star Weekend.
The brand showcased some upcoming coveted drops from Bad Bunny to the newest member of the adidas Crazy line, and more during adidas’ immersive exhibit at Venue 6SIX9, celebrating the future of the brand and the release of the latest adidas Chapter 02 collection.
Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low “Cangrejeros”
Bad Bunny and adidas celebrating Puerto Rican hoops with the upcoming Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low “Cangrejeros” colorway, dedicated to the PR basketball team that he owns — Los Cangrejeros de Santurce.
With Puerto Rico’s rich affinity for hoops, the collab is the perfect marriage as adidas and adidas Basketball lend into its on-court heritage with the adidas Forum continuing to take over the spotlight for the Three Stripes. The team’s logos and signature orange, navy, and cream hues accent the latest Bad Bunny x adidas installment.
adidas Crazy IIInfinity
The latest member of the adidas Crazy line (formerly known as the adidas Kobe line when the Mamba was with the Three Stripes from 1996-2002) takes inspiration from the unreleased adidas Kobe 3, which combined aspects from the adidas Kobe 1 (adidas Crazy 1) and the adidas KBII 8 (adidas Crazy 2).
The adidas Crazy IIInfinity pair features a new zip-up shroud concealing the lacing system and includes Three Stripes branding on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe.
adidas Dame 8 EXTPLY
Built with Bounce Pro tech and featuring a mid-foot strap for a lockdown fit, the adidas Dame 8 EXTPLY is next in line for the Three Stripes and its ongoing success with Damian Lillard and his signature shoe line.
adidas D.O.N. Issue #5
The upcoming adidas D.O.N. Issue #5 was showcased with Spida himself in attendance.
Attendees were also able to get a first look at the Cavs guard’s upcoming model in two different colorways alongside other unreleased footwear and apparel from the brand.
adidas EQT Top Ten 2010
Famously worn by rookie Kobe Bryant and even Antoine Walker, the adidas EQT Top Ten 2010 was a futuristic adaptation of adidas’ then-new Feet You Wear line, which debuted a season earlier with the adidas EQT Top Ten 2000.
Nearly three decades after its debut which took place in the 1996-1997 season, the adidas EQT Top Ten 2010 is on its way to the masses for basketball and sneaker fans to rejoice.
