Whenever you’re the best in the nation, you get recognized on many levels. For a teenage high school football player, the recognition that comes with being one of the best is finding placement within the annual Army All-American game. With a lineage that encompasses some of the finest NFL stars such as Adrian Peterson and Odell Beckham Jr., the exodus to San Antonio is a proverbial island of talent in a landlocked city.

With adidas outfitting the gifted players, we ventured to the Alamo city for an all inclusive look at the festivities leading up to Saturday’s game and the “stops” adidas is putting out to make these teenagers feel like stars.

Featuring some of the finest apparel and elite coaches, the East and West teams delegated the fields of Comalander Stadium and Heroes Stadium to fine-tune the new linguistics of the newly formed teams. After concise and nuanced practices, we caught up with the likes of Jack Jones and footwork superstar Dwayne Frampton as they were filming the upcoming “new speed” video with adidas. Furthermore, once the practices halted and the footballs stopped flying, adidas provided the players with a mobile barbershop and even inscribed their logo into the scalp of a select few.
