Summer is about to be in full swing and for hoop fans, that means Summer Pro-Ams in their respective cities. adidas Basketball has announced that they’re partnering up with The Drew League in Los Angeles, Rucker Park in Harlem, and the Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League to continue growing the game and invest in grassroots basketball.
“The excitement around the new partnerships with the Drew League, Rucker Park and AEBL is unparalleled,” said ReeCee Hollans, adidas Global Grassroots Basketball Sports Marketing Manager. “The authenticity each league brings to the game of basketball is special, it’s an honor to welcome them to the adidas family.”
“Their connection to the culture and community in their cities runs parallel to adidas Basketball’s efforts to grow the global hoops community,” said Chris McGuire, adidas Director of Sports Marketing. “We look forward to providing the tools and resources that will further the success they have already achieved, creating a new platform to celebrate the future of basketball together.”
adidas will also be tapping into their adidas Basketball family and James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, and Anthony Edwards will be debuting each league’s partnership jersey ahead of this year’s summer league season.
