As a brand, adidas is enjoying a flurry of momentum unlike ever before, with innovations like Boost carrying footwear, and partnerships with an endless flow of creators bringing a new lens to the company’s design language.

While Originals, Running and the lifestyle sectors of the adidas portfolio have enjoyed the most recent success, adidas Basketball is still finding their way through a bit of a transition period. That’s where longtime industry executive Kris Aman comes in.

Aman, a multi-sport athlete himself with a passion bridging sports, design and business all together, is looking to amplify the trajectory of the Basketball category as they continue to build the signature lines of both James Harden and Damian Lillard and transition away from the brand’s NBA uniform partnership.
