Following the debut of a vegan and eco-friendly Stan Smith PRIMEGREEN, adidas continues with its sustainability push, this time presenting the partly recycled Superstar Primeblue.

For the eco-conscious consumers out there, the sustainable adidas Superstar Primeblue utilizes a Primeblue construction, which is part-composed of Parley’s signature ocean plastic. The titular material crafts the entirety of the upper, while each panel and overlay retains a canvas-like look.

Moving towards the rear, the heel boasts “Core Black” stitch detailing made from upcycled plastic waste. In terms of branding, “Primeblue” can be found on the profile and insole, while adidas’s Trefoil insignia is featured on the heel and tongue tabs. Rounding out the overall look is a signature shell toe and a see-through rubber outsole.

The adidas Superstar Primeblue is set to release on Thursday, April 15 via select retailers and adidas.com for $90.
