It’s been a whirlwind month for Candace Parker as the adidas Basketball athlete just appeared in her 7th WNBA All-Star Game amongst upholding the Chicago Sky’s leading position in the WNBA standings. The momentum keeps building for CP3 as she officially announces the Candace Parker Collection Part II, by way of adidas Basketball.
Following her debut collection, Parker continues to build her legacy by sharing pieces of her life through her designs. The collection offers a full range of sportswear including sweatsuits, cropped jackets, hoodies, tees, and shorts — all complete with Parker’s signature Ace logo. You can mix and match the collection as the apparel comes in shades of orange, lavender, black, and white. Furthermore, this collection delivers six new colorways of the adidas Exhibit B.
Perhaps the most personal colorway from the collection, the adidas Exhibit B “Lailaa Nicole” is a tribute to Parker’s daughter. Parker was seen wearing the pair on-court during the 2022 WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago. The sneaker has an off-white upper with emerald accents and yellow highlights on the adidas Three-Stripes. The back of the pull tab reads “Lailaa Nicole,” in a metallic silver cursive.
The adidas Exhibit B “Chicago” is an ode to Parker’s hometown, but more importantly, an honor to her team the Chicago Sky. The sneaker takes the team’s classic colors and creates a monochromatic blue upper with hints of yellow on the adidas Three-Stripes. Parker’s signature “Ace” nickname is seen on the back of the pull tab and is surrounded by four red stars, which nods to Chicago’s city flag.
The adidas Exhibit B “Royalty” reiterates Parker’s mission of uplifting women in sports. Ace shares the crown as she creates a majestic purple and gold colorway inspired by African queens. The sneaker comes complete with the adidas Exhibit B signature Lightstrike midsole, which is ideal cushioning for fluid and dynamic handling.
The collection also includes three iterations of the adidas Exhibit B “Elevated Team” colorways. The white, black, and grey editions continue the collection’s purpose of empowering aspiring hoopers by emphasizing the magic of teamwork. Inclusive sizing is offered as Parker aims to expand access to female and non-binary athletes who’ve traditionally had to figure out how to fit into men’s basketball apparel and footwear.
The Candace Parker Collection Part II drops on August 1, 2022. Prices range from $35-$120 USD. To purchase, visit adidas and DICK’S Sporting Goods locations. Check out our full feature on Candace Parker as she talks to Nice Kicks about the full details of the collection.
