For the first time ever, adidas presents the Consortium Cup design tournament. For four weeks, 16 iconic sneaker stores will battle it out as the and brands go head to head for the chance to be crowned champion of the footwear design tournament.

The adidas Consortium Cup is organized in a four round knockout format, with the select sneaker stores competing against one another to be the last sneaker standing. Every Thursday, the face-offs will open for 48 hours. From there, CONFIRMED app users will be able to vote for their favorite designs directly in the app or via the Consortium Cup web page.

The rounds will focus on different elements of the adidas’ heritage. Round 1 focuses on adidas’ classic silhouettes. Round 2 highlights Three-Stripes’ basketball legacy. Round 3 explores running innovation. The grand finale, Round 4, will be a top-secret showdown.

The store with the most votes in each matchup will progress deeper into the tournament. The winning shoe from each round will be produced in limited quantities and made available for purchase at a later date – with a total of 15 sneakers making it from concept to store shelves.

The Consortium Cup has officially begun, so head over to the adidas CONFIRMED app to vote. For more sneaker news and release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Instagram.
