adidas is bringing back the adidas Crazy 1 in 2022 and a Lakers colorway rightfully makes its way onto the sneaker that’s dropping later this month.

The adidas Crazy 1 was originally called the adidas Kobe 1 when Kobe Bryant was signed with the 3 Stripes and the design was inspired by the Audi TT, with its rounded edges and interesting shape. Taking on the colors of the Sunday whites that the Lakers wear, the 3 Stripes are debossed on the medial and lateral sides with adidas branding on the tongue and heel. adiprene+ was used for cushioning in the original, but still unknown if the same cushioning setup is used. Lastly, a uniform herringbone outsole finishes off the sneaker.

The adidas Crazy 1 “Lakers Home” is set to drop on November 11th at European retailers with a US release following soon after. Check out the photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.

Update 2/16: Though the pair released late last year at select retailers in Europe, the pair is now set to launch in the US. Dropping on February 18th, 2023 for $150 via adidas, it’s only fitting that it falls on NBA All-Star Weekend. For all the latest release information hit us with a follow on Nice Drops.
