It’s been ten years since Derrick Rose became the youngest player to win the NBA MVP award at the age of 22 and adidas is bringing back the midseason signature sneaker for Derrick in an OG colorway, the adidas D Rose 1.5 which he wore in his MVP season.

The sneaker returns with slight updates, such as Lightstrike being used for cushioning instead of adiprene+ that was in the OG. Sprintskin is used on the base of the sneaker in grey with grey nubuck overlays on the medial and lateral sides. The toebox is featured in white patent leather with the Sprintframe heel counter in red with the 3 Stripes going down into the midsole. the detached midsole is seen in red with the outsole featuring the 3 Stripes on the heel with a white forefoot outsole with translucent pods on the high wear areas of the forefoot.

The adidas D Rose 1.5 is set to drop on December 15th on adidas.com and at select retailers with a price tag that is still unknown. Check out the official photos below and let us know if these are a hooping option for you on Twitter and Instagram.
