Ric Flair Gets Immortalized on the adidas Dame 7

Continuing to pay homage to wrestling greats, Damian Lillard has now turned his sights to cultural icon Ric Flair. Following the Dame 6 that paid tribute to the one-and-only Stone Cold Steve Austin, Lillard has now decided to immortalize Ric Flair on his latest adidas signature, the Dame 7.

Just like Flair’s outrageous robes, the adidas Dame 7 “Ric Flair” comes dressed in royal blue exteriors and a croc-like skin. Arriving on the tongue are contrasting silver accents marked as the Oakland hooper’s signature logo, while spotlighted throughout are motifs paying homage to Flair such as his “Nature Boy” nickname, see on the lower throat, and “Wooooo!” catchphrase spelled out in tiny lettering across the lateral heels. The catchphrase appears once more as oversized cursive on the treading.

The adidas Dame 7 “Ric Flair” drops in overseas retailers today, while a stateside release is in the works.
