The adidas Dame 8 “Battle Of The Bubble” Represents Damian Lillard’s Killer Performance During the 2020 Seeding Games

When the COVID-19 pandemic started to take course in early 2020, the NBA came to halt and the season was left unfinished. Eventually when the NBA decided to restart, there was no doubt that it had to be done with caution. This led to the Seeding Games, which were protected by the innovative NBA Bubble. The adidas Dame 8 “Battle Of The Bubble” is a tribute to the 2020 NBA Bubble, but more importantly, Damian Lillard’s insane performance during the Seeding Games when he averaged 37.6 points, 9.6 assists, and 4.3 rebounds. This ended up leading the Trail Blazers to secure the 8th and final spot in the Western Conference.

Naturally, this adidas Dame 8 comes dressed in bubblegum hues. The upper is made with bright blue mesh that transforms into a purple and pink gradient. The medial side of the sneaker has “DAME” printed in a shocking blue font. The adjacent pull-tab has “37.6-9.6-4.3” printed in pink, to pay tribute to Damian Lillard’s smashing stats. The heel also has shocking blue font that reads, “Battle of the Bubble.” The adidas Three-Stripes are finished with a pink gradient to match the bubblegum outsole.
