The Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 Goes Bold in “Black Widow”

During this year’s All-Star Weekend, Adidas Basketball showcased Donovan Mitchell’s newest Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 silhouette during its immersive exhibit at Venue 6SIX9.

Now for the current season, Adidas will be dropping a bevy of eye-catching colorways of the four-time All-Star newest signature. Along with “Blue Sapphire” and “Throwback Don,” the Adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 will also be released in a bold “Black Widow” color scheme featuring red and black hues.

The upcoming pair is composed of a plastic TPU upper and mesh pockets and boasts the same bootie-like construction that appears within the Harden Vol. 7. Further elevating the pair are the rope laces, mid-foot lockdown cables and a sculpted footbed infused with Lightstrike cushioning technology.

“I am beyond excited to release the D.O.N. Issue 5, where self-expression meets performance, symbolizing a new game-changing chapter with Adidas Basketball,” shared Mitchell in an official press release.

Along with Derrick Rose, Damian Lillard, and Jams Harden, Mitchell is one of the few active Three Stripes athletes who have a signature line with five models.
