adidas Basketball and Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Donovan Mitchell have unveiled the D.O.N. Issue #6, marking the sixth signature shoe in Mitchell’s line with the Three Stripes.
Inspired by Mitchell’s mantra of “Determination Over Negativity,” the adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 is designed to empower overlooked athletes, encouraging them to trust in their game. The latest silhouette combines enhanced lockdown and lightweight comfort with the necessary cushioning for explosive on-court performance.
The adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 boasts several innovative features aimed at elevating players’ performance. For explosiveness, the shoe incorporates zoned energy return and forefoot cushioning through Lightstrike Pro, complemented by Lightstrike technology in the heel. Enhanced midfoot lockdown is achieved with a secure midfoot harness, ensuring stability during dynamic movements. The upper, crafted from breathable mesh, offers anatomical fitting to minimize abrasion and distractions, providing ultimate comfort.
The adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 retails for $120 and will be available in various colorways starting July 5, 2024, via adidas.com and at select adidas stores and retailers.
