adidas is redefining the game of football, and the definition of fast with the all-new adidas X Ghosted. The football boot starts at the limit as it continues the adidas DNA of pushing the needle of performance and technology. The result is an untapped discovery engineered for the next level.

The X Ghosted focuses on the essentials with its Translucent Mirageskin upper. The upper is composed of three layers of material unified into one waterproof material layer over a wireframe structure and a mesh that adapts to the foot and provides a speedy aesthetic even when stagnant.

In addition to the upper, the boot adopts a carbon fiber plate that provides propulsion like sensation. The Carbitex Speedframe marks the first time that a carbon fiber plate makes its way to the pitch.

The adidas X Ghosted also features Vaccum Fit thanks to the layered upper and the 3D molded heel. The combination leads to a sensation that sucks the air out of the boot when putting it on for a completely locked-down fit.

The X Ghosted is available via pre-order now over at adidas. Expect the boot to break the barrier of fast during Europa League, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Women’s Champions League.
