The adidas Forum has become a contender for top retro silhouettes, in large part due to its classic history and timeless appearance. In honor of 313 Day this weekend, the Three Stripes, sneaker retailer SNIPES, and the Detroit Pistons have combined efforts to create a fun, exclusive iteration.
Inspired by the Pistons back-to-back Championship efforts in 1989-1990 and 1990-1991 seasons, the Forum features a premium leather upper and classic Three Stripes branding. Each toe box overlay relives the historic Pistons effort, while the heel tab displays the iconic “D” representing the city of Detroit. Unique to this Forum, the pair also includes a crisscross strap effort with a (likely) removable strap.
This iteration of the adidas Forum High “313 Day” will only be available through SNIPES x Detroit Pistons co-branded mobile trucks that will be making stops throughout Detroit with the Forum silhouette and other apparel ready for purchase for $110. With only limited quantities, be sure to take note of this release if you’re in the Detroit area.
If you’re not in D-Town, at least you can take a look at the sneaker below and hope for a similar public release soon. Keep it locked to Nice Kicks for all of your sneaker information.
