adidas Harden Vol. 2 "Pioneer" Release Date

Artesia High School in Lakewood, California was once home to one of the NBA’s most talented players — James Harden. Before his triumphant two-year stint at Arizona State University, Harden found his game and his confidence at the Los Angeles county school.

The adidas Harden Vol. 2 “Pioneer” pays tribute to James’ time at Artesia by remixing the institution’s colors via varying shades of red with soft grey accents. “My time at Artesia was when I made a drastic change. I believed in myself, and I had a lot more confidence in my ability to play the game of basketball,” Harden remarked. “I was pushed to become better every time I stepped on the court, which motivated me to accept every challenge.”
