No one will confuse the adidas Iniki Runner for a super hyped sneaker. It’s just not that type of shoe. But for better or worse, it doesn’t necessarily have to be. The Boost centric “mall” shoe is a top seller, and an extension of the Boost line that now touches on multiple categories. Moreover, it ensures the budding cushioning technology is available to the masses, not just “us.”
Later this summer, the Iniki Runner returns in a “Goldenrod” edition that channels late ’70s and early ’80s three stripes brand aesthetics. Marked by a nylon mesh and suede upper, a mustard-like shade controls the upper which is upheld by full-length Boost.
You can expect the adidas Iniki Runner “Goldenrod” later this summer at select retailers and adidas.com.
