Reseda Cleveland High School had football stolen from them last February. Literally. After raising $7,000 for the prep pigskin program, the cash was ripped from the school’s office and their recently hired coach Matt Gentle had the daunting task of telling his new group of players the news.
While efforts were made to little avail to raise back the funds, player mom Samantha Koerner took it upon herself to email the VP of the newest football team in town, the LA Rams. The result? This story. The LA Rams, adidas and Gamebreakers came to the school as a surprise to donate gear, take photos and interact with the players. Check out the story at The LA Times.
