Adidas has been reliving the 80’s these days with new colorways on old classics like the Forum ‘84. This time around, they honor the 80’s with the adidas Marathon 86 SPZL “Shock Lime.” This sneaker takes inspiration from the ’80s Italian Paninaro fashion movement, which originated in Milan and paved the way for luxury street style.
This revival of an all-time favorite archival adidas runner gives a modern colorway to a vintage silhouette. “Shock Lime” and “Yellow Spice” dress the upper with a smooth suede finish. The signature adidas three-stripes appear in “Collegiate Navy” leather, which adds a refining contrast to the brightness of the sneaker. A single red stripe on the midsole finishes the shoe with a simple, but striking detail — true Paninaro style.
The adidas Marathon 86 SPZL “Shock Lime” can be purchased now on adidas.com and at select retailers for a price of $130. Follow @NiceKicks for more sneaker news and updates.
