Originally released back in 1979, the adidas Marathon TR was one of the last developments personally overseen by brand founder, Adi Dassler. Designed as a trail runner, the shoe is foundational to the brand’s history and it’s returning in two nostalgic colorways early next year.
Fitted in a mesh build with suede overlays for a retro-fitted aesthetic, the shoe is rounded off with a metallic nubuck heel and trefoil tongue branding. Maintaining its original grippy trail outsole, both colorways of the adidas Marathon TR “Epochal” Pack will be available on January 9 at adidas.com and select retailers like END.
