Soccer has long been established as an international sport. Ever since the Dream Team decimated international competition, basketball worldwide popularity has skyrocketed. To meld the two sports and provide fans of both the ability to support their favorite hoops team as if they were soccer hooligans, adidas and the NBA have introduced the Gol! Collection of apparel. A t-shirt and jacket were designed for NBA teams in the vein of soccer jerseys, using old school logos like those seen on Hardwood Classic uniforms and fan gear.
