In the latter moments of 2017, it became visibly evident that the adidas NMD popularity has substantially slowed. It hadn’t faltered completely, but it wasn’t nearly what it was as the end of 2016 or the beginning of last year.
Adidas, however, doesn’t appear to be staggered by the slowage. Next month they plan to release this NMD R1 “Blizzard,” which encompasses all the traditional tonal elements of the winter storm from which it bears its name. Largely coated in white with hints of grey, Primeknit construction marks much of the upper while pristine white Boost maneuvers below.
