The latest release that helps bolster the ever-growing adidas NMD family is the STLT edition. It’s a sleek, stripped down Primeknit model with traditional NMD midsole tooling and full-length Boost. Yet with this new colorway, the shoe not only takes from the customary NMD R1, it also looks eerily similar to a certain tie-dye collaboration from years past.
Released back in 2016, with a red and black Primeknit upper over noir EVA plugs and white Boost, the Nice Kicks x adidas Consortium NMD Runner PK easily serves as inspiration for this budding STLT. We’ll certainly accept it as flattery, as this colorway turned out exceptionally well. But given its clear inspiration, how could it not?
