Adidas continues to stand as the fastest growing sportswear brand in American, with second quarter sales up 32%.
With solid growth in their overall footwear and apparel divisions, the German brand surged with double-digit expansion in their running and Originals sector. Adidas, additionally, is twofold in its growth which includes Reebok’s uprising.
Group sales have increased 21% on a currency-neutral basis. This is fueled by ongoing momentum at adidas (+25%) and Reebok (+7%).
Aside from North American growth, adidas posted stellar numbers abroad, too. Sales were up 29% in Western Europe region and 30% in China.
The second quarter earning report also saw adidas execs note that both the adidas NMD and adidas Yeezy Boost line as their “most in-demand sneakers.”
These fiscal triumphs are actively shifting the narrative of sportswear. Adidas isn’t just in the conversation these days, they’re driving it.
