No retro release is complete without an appropriate video marketing campaign. So, to introduce you to the adidas Mutombo that’s set to release on August 24, adidas has dropped the first episode inviting you into the “House of Mutombo.” In the illustrated and animated clip below, the first topic covered is Mutombo’s beginnings dating back to before he arrived stateside, and the video is peppered with fun facts about the athlete-turned-humanitarian. This is the first of three episodes, not including a special “making of” video, so be sure to stay locked in to Nice Kicks for more from the House of Mutombo as it becomes available.
