The Opening Ceremony festivities for the Rio Olympics kick off this Friday, culminating a long summer of sneaker styles themed after the games in Brazil.
Adidas re-enters the fold today with a tropical take on the Superstar. The seaside city of Rio de Janeiro serves as the aesthetic guide for the shoe, which comes in a white upper matched alongside deep blue graphics at the Three Stripes and a speckled tan midsole that odes to the shore. Surf and skateboard graphics finish the look at the heel of each shoe.
Expect the adidas Superstar “Rio” to release in exclusivity at the adidas Originals store in Rio.
