Among the foundational Boost runners that helped mold the innovative technology into the industry titan it is today, the adidas PureBOOST is back and better than before.

Inspired and created for runners yet versatile enough to easily dominate in secondary genres as well, the silhouette sees progressive enhancements including an 8mm heel lift and modified sculpting of the Boost midsole. The outsole is also constructed to meet the demands of street running, while the rubber extension on the medial side aides in greater support and stability.

What’s more, adidas has developed a budding knit fabrication evoking a highly adaptive upper. The tongue has also been altered, now featuring double wrap construction for harmony in movement during city runs. “Runners all over the world are making cities their playground and use their runs as the ultimate way to explore,” remarked Stephan Schneider, PureBOOST product manager at adidas. “With PureBOOST we wanted to give these runners the ultimate tool to push their own boundaries and take on the city head first.”

The adidas PureBOOST will begin with two releases – the first in Black/White on January 18 and the second in black on January 25, both retailing at $140 at adidas.com. More colorways will follow on February 1.
