For what it’s worth, adidas has more than enough new silhouettes to forgo digging in their vault for at least another year. However, that hasn’t stopped the Three Stripes from exploring the dark crevasses of their archives to revive the celebrated Island Series. Widely revered back in the early ’80s due to its tropical nature that fixated on islands across the globe, the adidas Island Series returns for Spring/Summer 2015 with reissued editions of the Hawaii, Samao and Tahiti. Releasing in 28 variations throughout its long tenured history, the adidas Island Series is back starting April 18 with the Samao followed by the Hawaii on May 2 and the Tahiti on May 16.
