Stefan Edberg was the man back in the 80s and 90s, and as one might guess, residing as one of world’s greatest tennis players had its perks.
Due to his star status and top notch game, adidas introduced Edberg’s Torsion in 1990. Lucky for us who weren’t able to hold onto a pair then, Consortium is bringing it back in its original form in 2019.
A stunning retro release, exceptional white leather is accented by loud hues such as blue, purple, orange and volt on the upper. Sail tops off the midsole for an aged aesthetic while Stefan Edberg’s logo on the lateral cup lends classic appeal to this vintage sneaker.
Tennis anyone? Check out the images below for a detailed look at adidas Consortium Torsion Edberg Comp.
Releasing at Sneaker Politics and other Adidas Consortium retailers on July 19th for $120, will you be adding this OG sneaker to your collection? Sound off on social.
