Jamal Smith Puts His 360 Spin On The adidas Adimatic

adidas team rider Jamal Smith is known as an iconic meme for most but within the skate community, Jamal has been holding it down with his unique set of tricks which includes his Tornado Spin. In collaboration with adidas Skateboarding, Jamal draws inspiration from hip-hop production, sample loops, and his love for tricks involving 360 spins on the adidas Adimatic.

“I’m insanely grateful to be a part of the Three Stripes family. I never thought I’d get the opportunity to work with adidas,” says Jamal Smith. “The Adimatic launch makes me feel a mixture of emotions—I’m extremely appreciative and dumbfounded. It means the world to me, for real. I already had the colorway and idea in my head for years. Definitely going to be skating this model for a minute and I hope the rest of the world enjoys it, too.” 

The sneaker features a black upper, using black suede on the majority of the sneaker with the 3 Stripes seen in orange nubuck. The chunky skate shoe that was built to last in the 90s gets a 2022 upgrade with an ortholite sockliner for impact protection and a black midsole and gum outsole finish off the sneaker.
