Tomorrow morning, following Speedfactory city launches that represent London, Paris and Los Angeles, adidas will release its latest installment for New York City.

Like all other Speedfactory sneakers before it, the AM4NYC was produced at the digitally automated, highly efficient facility. This particular pair was crafted at the Atlanta location. But even before the shoes were produced in the robotics heavy facility, adidas partnered with its NYC running captains Adam Francique and Jessie Zapo to map out data for the shoe’s upper.

The AM4NYC has many functions. One of which is to meet demands of athletes running in space deficient cities like New York. Those running captains were able to provide key insight on training in the Big Apple and how that affects fit, lockdown and weight restrictions. Much of which was solved with the revolutionary floating Torsion Bar and full-length Boost cushioning.

The adidas Speedfactory AM4NYC will retail for $200 USD and release tomorrow, April 26, at adidas’ 5th Avenue flagship, the brand concept shop at 610 Broadway, adidas.com and select NYC retailers. Additionally, as we mentioned earlier this week, a Speedfactory pop-up experience will coincide with the release in Brooklyn. Fans will be able to get custom foot scans and test out the shoe through interaction processes.

Even more impressive, adidas will also release modified iterations of the AM4LDN and AM4PAR titled the AM4LDN 1.1 and AM4PAR 1.1, respectively. They will be available at the same retail destinations as the AM4NYC.
