adidas‘ Made To Be Recycled program has hit a few sneakers over the years, most recently the adidas Terrex Free Hiker and now the closed-loop recycling program adds the iconic adidas Stan Smith to the list.
The sneaker uses a knit TPU yarn upper throughout with the lace overlays, heeltab, and tongue tag using a clear plastic-like material. The perforated 3 Stripes are seen on both sides and adidas Stan Smith branding is printed on the heel with a QR code on the tongue to track where your sneakers are in the Made To Be Recycled process once they’re sent in for recycling. Zig-zag stitching is seen on the milky midsole and the same hue is seen on the outsole as well.
The adidas Stan Smith “Made To Be Recycled” is set to drop on October 19th via adidas.com and at select retailers for $180. Check out the official photos below and our Sneaker Release Dates page for the latest drop dates.
