adidas Details Stan Smith’s Face On To The Heel

adidas keeps on reinventing its classic Stan Smith silhouette. Following a 100% eco-friendly iteration, made from sustainable materials, the Three Stripes is paying homage to its namesake by spotlighting Stan Smith’s face.

This upcoming adidas Stan Smith “Off White” features Smith’s portrait on the lateral rear, along with its traditional placement on the tongue tabs. Instead of the usual hits of green, black is used to accent the heel tab and tongue branding. Other than that, the model is constructed from Primegreen, the brand’s new eco-friendly alternative to leather. To go along with its new sustainability initiatives, the insoles are covered with a cork texture.

The adidas Stan Smith “Off White” will release at select European retailers, such as Asphaltgold, on March 25.
