If you were under the impression that cork sneakers were over and you’d seen the last of them, well, you were wrong. Adidas Originals is utilizing the Superstar 80s to further experiment with the celebratory material opting for a cork toe in lieu of the customary shell toe.
The adidas Superstar 80s “Cork” Pack features sand and black suede iterations dressed in modern cork construction. And while some may have functionality concerns with ‘cork’ anything, you certainly can’t deny the striking aesthetics here.
