Stripes and stripes and stripes and stripes! Adidas built itself on the Superstar, sewing a few strips of material to the upper of a leather low top. And for this latest release, they may have lost count of their stripes, covering the shoes with them entirely. At first appearance, these appear to just use silver and black alternating stripes, but they’re actually made with 3M reflective material. The material really shines in car headlights or a picture flash, as seen here. Like so many Superstars over the years, these combine a white shell toe and midsole. No word on when or if these will be available. Click here to see a pic of the reflective effect in action. |
