Before he signed a 90 million dollar deal with Nike and before he played in his first NBA game, Lebron James was wearing PEs from every basketball performance brand at the time. adidas gave Lebron some of the most iconic PEs at the time, and adidas is bringing back the Green and Gold for a St. Vincent St. Mary colorway of the adidas T-Mac 2.0.
The upper is made of a Team Dark Green patent leather with gold accenting seen throughout, most notably the lines from the medial side of the toebox to the lateral midfoot. The T-Mac logo can be seen on the ankle collar of the half bootie used in the sneaker, with the 3 stripes embossed and perforated on the medial and lateral sides, as well as the heel.
Instead of adiprene+ used on the original adidas T-Mac 2 for cushioning, it’s replaced with adidas Bounce for an updated take. The T-Mac 2.0 also is constructed using a double lasted midsole to reduce weight and better court feel, and a Torsion system plate for stability without sacrificing movement.
The adidas T-Mac 2.0 “SVSM,” is expected to release on February 17th via adidas.com and select retailers for $140 in the near future. Check our Sneaker Release Dates page for any updates, and check out the images below.
