When the adidas Top Ten Hi was a new sneaker, it was cherished for both its on-court performance and off-court simplicity. Now, over 30 year later, it’s the latter of those features that’s workign as its main selling point. The pair seen here is an original colorway, but has been updated with a special animal material for 2010. Embossed ostrich in Aluminum is used for the upper’s majority, as well as the stripe that wraps around the ankle. On the midfoot and toe, regular leather is used in a matching hue, while black stripes with rec outlines appear on the quarterpanels.
