To honor the 30th anniversary of the 1988 Seoul Olympics, adidas is set to release a commemorative Ultra Boost.
With mismatching red and blue heel counters, the shoe highlights the Korean flag at the tongue while the Primeknit construction resembles something similar to the Ultra Boost 1.0 or 2.0. Although rather simplistic, this look represents one of the best UB colorways we’ve seen in recent memory.
It does, however, come after the Air Jordan 3 “Korea” which was predominately done in similar fashion. And while that does relinquish a bit of the design’s exclusivity, this pair is hard to look past.
Early reports from adidas Korea pin this release for September 28. Grab a closer look at the adidas Ultra Boost “1988 Seoul” below and stay tuned for more.
