After images leaked last year, fans have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the UltraBOOST 21. Thankfully, the intriguing looking model is set to drop soon with a massive 24 confirmed colorways set for eventual release. One of launch colorways has now come to light, with adidas releasing the UltraBOOST 21 “Solar Yellow” shortly.

A progressive design all-around, the Primeknit+ upper features Primeblue, an environmentally conscious material developed with Parley using recycled ocean plastics. Mostly White, hits of Solar Yellow run across the updated toe vamp & redesigned heel cup. A translucent cage with Three Stripes in Black is stitched on to the upper, adding to the flat laces support. The heel collar has been elevated while the tongue & fore foot are more streamlined, providing a more sock-like fit.

Under the reimagined uppers sits arguably the most noticeable feature of the model – the updated sole for even more comfort. The thick BOOST midsole has grown to offer more foam to keep users comfortable in a variety of settings. The outsole still features Continental rubber but has been renewed by the inclusion of Linear Energy Push technology. The tech, best known from the SolarBOOST line, combines with a Stretchweb outsole to deliver enhanced energy return & propulsion.

Set to land on February 4th along with other launch colorways, the pair is expected to retail for $180.
