Y-3 & adidas Join Forces on the Hicho

Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 sublabel is once again teaming up with adidas on the eye-catching Hicho silhouette.

Here the duo takes adidas’ classic Superstar model and turns it into a platform silhouette dubbed the adidas Y-3 Hicho. The Superstar’s usual leather outfit has been given a luxe fabrication marked with paint, along with Y-3 and Three Stripes branding. Elsewhere the tooling gets an oversized makeover, while the sole gets an added layer.

The adidas Y-3 Hicho is set to release at select retailers on July 15.
