Last year, the adidas Y-3 Pureboost ZG quietly emerged as one of the best sneakers of 2016. Sure, much of the shoe’s success was due to Jerry Lorenzo, but the FOG founder providing the shoe with greater visibility didn’t change what already was a great shoe. Its basis is slightly transformed for this upcoming spring release.
Taking largely from the aforementioned silhouette’s aesthetic comes the simply stated adidas Y-3 Pureboost. Maneuvering the three stripes branding in a more contemporary manner while other uniquely subtle changes take shape, it’s obvious that the Pureboost ZG is clearly the inspiration for this assumed successor.
Select international retailers have the adidas Y-3 Pureboost “White” available for pre-order with a release scheduled for March. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more details.
