At first sight of the adidas Y-3 Stan Zip last year, most were under the impression that the shoe would be an instant smash, a culturally trending shoe with pull across the global market. Well, things didn’t quite happen that way.
The shoe was met with a somewhat middling response and faded as adidas and Y-3 models respectively grew more prominent. But a good shoe never cease at being a good shoe, which is clearly visible with this “Triple Black” edition. The zipped component of the two-piece upper shines as the models greatest feature, while a minimalistic approach gives the Stan Zip a sleeker profile.
