Fashion works in waves. One look will dominate for a string of seasons only to be washed away with a fresh current of change. With everything going grunge over the past couple years, one would see the polar opposite as prep and perhaps the next phase. Enter Lacoste.

Known for their pique polos but longstanding on their own in footwear, the gator branded fashion force has moved with many a wave in the past. For Spring 2016, Lacoste is looking to their legacy while moving ahead with the retro-rooted yet still progressive INCA.

A heritage style from the mid 90s, there are hints of Huarache as the INCA features an exposed neoprene sockliner and progressive cut. Technically, the shoe is set to a cupsole, finding Lacoste at home on the tennis court.

Totally tonal, the Lacoste L!VE INCA Collection will launch in Spring 2016 as part of the brand’s Gallery Collection in Navy, Black, White and Tan iterations at select sneaker boutiques. Peep a preview via the Agenda Long Beach show in the photos below.
