Jamey recalls first seeing photos of the Air Force 1 Supreme Max Air “Bird’s Nest” a few summers ago. It is not an extremely rare shoe but still very dope and appealing. Jamey knew the Beijing Olympics were going on and these kicks were modeled after the stadium where opening ceremonies took place. Jamey loved the look of the raised strands of leather across the toebox and side-panels that resembled the design of China’s national stadium. He also stated that he liked the fact that the shoe is very simple yet elegant. Jamey found the sneakers in Bodega, his favorite Boston’s kicks boutique. At the time, Jamey had never spent more than $100 or so on a pair of kicks; however, these shoes were so cool to him that he decided to drop $175 on them. This would turn out to be the most amount of money he had ever dropped on a single pair of kicks. When it was all said and done, Jamey was satisfied with a pair of? kicks that will always be one of his favorites.
