Last but not least, send your story along with a picture of you with the shoes to [email protected]. Title the subject Air Force Friday.

Firman wanted to share his story about the love he has for his first Air Force 1, and what better place to do that than on our Air Force Friday? Firman used to be an avid skater a few years back and still is when time allows. Firman also had a love for basketball as well; this gave him a reason to wear basketball kicks as opposed to rocking skate shoes. Firman first saw this colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 around a week or so before he bought them, and he couldn’t stop thinking about them. Firman figured he needed a spare pair of sneakers for college; he thought this pair would be perfect. At the time, the cost was around 550K Rupiahs ($55). Since Firman spent most of his money buying skateboards and skating sneakers,? he didnt want to ask his dad or mom to lend him the money.? In 2005, Firman’s senior year in college, he entered and won 2nd place in a automotive design contest in which he won 400K Rupiahs. On his way home, he took a diffrent route in order to cruise by the mall near his university. He went directly to the Nike Store and bought his first pair of Forces. It was special to Firman because it was the first time he bought a sneaker from money he earned. Firman rocked this pair of Forces from 2005 to 2007. Firman still keeps the corpse and it’s box as part of his collection in order to remember all the memories that he made with first pair of Air Force 1’s.
