| Throughout the years that Nike has released Air Force Ones, special edition City Series Editions have popped up from time to time. Initially the two coasts got their shine with NYC and LA Air Force 1’s, but one city that was very important to the history of this iconic model is Philadelphia.??
Nike showed love with Philly in 2005 with the release of the Philly Nike Air Force 1 that came in patriotic colors and called out to an important piece of the city’s and our nation’s history, the Liberty Bell. Philadelphia received love again in the summer of 2006 with another colorway of the Philly Air Force 1 as well as being part of the City Series celebrated in 2007 with the 25th Anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1.
