Hybrid: Air Jordan 1.5
As MJ’s star began to rise, Nike and the Air Jordan franchise understood the importance of creating a notable second silouette. However, before venturing to the Air Jordan 2, the Air Jordan 1.5 was created.
Arriving during a time in which Jordan was suffering from the most debilitating injury of his career, the Air Jordan 1.5 incorporated the traditional upper of the Air Jordan 1 along with the reinforced outsole of the Air Jordan 2 for further comfort and performance functionality.
All in all, this silhouette seemed to be an outlier for consumers for many years, until now.
