Back in 2011, the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” brought back Nike Air tagging to the AJ1 and in many ways brought back the silo. Since then, the 1985 model has been endorsed by entertainers and worn by sneaker enthusiasts around the world. Today, we get our first look at the next retro installment of the Air Jordan 1 Black/Red. The famed colorway keeps OG cues, sporting Nike Air tagging on the tongue and the Wings logo on the ankle. Themed ‘banned’ branding is likely left off, keeping this release close to the original version.
